Kee Safety
We Separate People from Hazards
A mission statement that sums up Kee Safety’s purpose. Creating their first safety product, the Kee Klamp, in 1934, Kee Safety has had one focus: To manufacture and supply the world’s best safety products. The original design of the Kee Klamp from 1934, initially used in the agricultural industry, is still in use today, creating a safe environment for rooftops globally.
Why Kee Safety?
-
Durability
Kee Safety products are hot dipped galvanized for maximum protection against the elements. Hot dipped galvanizing provides decades of protection, even in the worst climates. Every component goes through a rigorous detailed inspection in the manufacturing process. Longevity and strength is the result of the high level of quality control at Kee Safety.
-
Modular
Kee Safety products are modular, which means they can be reconfigured, repaired, and maintained without having to disassemble everything just to replace or repair one component. Modularity means meeting your needs is easier than ever. Each component integrates with other Kee Safety components to create the best safety products on the market, while exceeding OSHA compliance.
-
*Ease of Install and Repair
No need to bring an entire toolbox full of tools to install Kee Safety products. One hex setscrew is all that it takes to secure the components to each other. Need to replace a rail? Remove it and install a new one. Need to shorten up a rail? Remove it, cut it, reinstall it. That simple.
-
Custom Designed
Sure, we can install off the shelf components for many projects, but for some, we’ll need to have custom components made to meet the need. Kee Safety can perform a safety audit to determine exactly what components are needed and where, and which will need to be custom made. Because of the flexibility of the modular design, railings can be designed to meet your specifications.
-
Engineered
All components of Kee Safety are engineered to meet OSHA compliance & guidelines, including custom components. All Kee Klamps are forged, never welded. This helps ensure the integrity of each component is complete, and, reduces the amount of engineering that goes into the product.
Kee Safety products are designed with flexibility for the end user in mind. In this case, having a permanent ladder is impractical, so the non-penetrating rooftop fall protection is designed to alleviate both the possibility of a ladder leaned up against the building from sliding to one side or the other, AND, creates a safe zone where the ladder user cannot access the ladder without first opening the safe zone to the top of the ladder.
Ladders
In this case, non-penetrating Kee Safety railings are installed around a permanently installed ships ladder, providing grab rails, and fall protection to protect personnel who are accessing the upper level.
Gates
Looking at the same ships ladder and fall protection, the gate at the top of the ships ladder is spring loaded so it closes automatically. The safety railing around the ships ladder is secured to the handrails of the ladder, further securing both to create a comprehensive protective space against falls.

Fall Protection
Rooftop perimeter fall protection where a component of a rooftop HVAC system forces workers to walk within six feet of the edge of the roof. OSHA requirements mandate that fall protection must be present in situations like this.
